The Newest Pages

Welcome to the Beaumont showroom!  You in line for some brand-new reading material?

Well, you're in the right place, partner.

Beaumont's got just what you've been looking for there, sport, and a whole lot more.

Over there, the growing selection of shiny new fiction. A great variety of genres to choose from, too, including fanfics, other short stories, and longforms, to boot.
And that rather large - and cryptic - display is for my exclusive new series, now in development, called "Gravity".

Oh, that?  Behind the curtain?  Well, that's my "Editor's Cut" section - something for those who've already enjoyed their experience with Beaumont, and are looking for more.  And over on this particular pedestal next to you, my non-fiction essays and criticism: my own op-ed page, if you will.

Plus, if you've got the time, maybe grab yourself a bag of popcorn and check out the theater: I've got some scripts you might want to take a gander at.

And all of it is solid, reliable entertainment.

So go ahead and browse.  I'll talk to my sales manager.  When you're ready, we'll go for a spin.

ORIGINAL NON-FICTION

THE MOST HORRIFYING THING I'VE SEEN THIS YEAR       for content.

Synopsis:  A brief commentary on a current television commercial that I truly despise.  I bet you despise it, too.

ORIGINAL FICTION

TAG       for violence, language, and adult content.

Status:  Chapter One now available / more to come
Synopsis:  A man on a business trip is forced into playing a stranger's terrifying game.

TWO YEARS AFTER, ON A NEW YEAR'S EVE

    for brief sexual content.

         Status:  Complete short story
Synopsis:  A man revisits - and is tempted to revive - the past when an old girlfriend shows up at his New Year's Eve party.
Beaumont sez:   I wrote this as an exercise, and when I was through, I was rather surprised - by the situation, by the characters, by my own attachment to the world
I'd been prepared to simply toss off.    Soon, one night's work became a week and a half, and I was glad I'd put in the effort.   Not my best, I'll admit,
but it's not bad at all.
